Earthshine...when the Apollo astronauts landed on the moon, one of the most astonishing things they saw was a Full Earth rising from the horizon, and the entire moonscape was filled with Earthshine.

Lovely image and great concept.
wow. that's really cool. I never heard of that before or much less thought that. How incredible it must be for those who have landed on the moon to experience that. I wonder if they felt really lonely then when the earth was filled with so much earthshine. I think I would have felt that. A huge longing to be there and not on the moon.
Guess that's a good thing I'm not an astranaut!

This is a beautiful image - and I love the word "earthshine" - makes me smile!
You captured a feeling of awe here...the earth looks so far away and space looks so cold and vast. Beautiful work!
